4. Third-Party Services & AI Processing
No Third-Party AI Services: We use a self-hosted Qwen large language model (LLM) running entirely on our own infrastructure. Your document content is never sent to any external or third-party service. No document data is stored — it is processed in memory and immediately discarded.

- Fully self-hosted: The AI model runs on our own infrastructure — no external API calls are made
- No data sharing: Your data is not shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party
- Zero data storage: No document content, queries, or summaries are stored anywhere — everything is processed in memory and immediately discarded
- No model training: Your data is never used to train or improve any AI model
5. Data Storage and Security
The only data we store is your login credentials (email, name, password). No document content, queries, or AI-generated summaries are ever stored.
- Login credentials are stored in a secure database
- Passwords are encrypted using bcrypt hashing (we cannot see your password)
- All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
- JWT tokens are used for secure authentication
- All document processing happens in memory and nothing is written to disk

In accordance with Apple's App Store guidelines, we disclose the following:

- Data Not Linked to You: Usage statistics (query counts, response times) are collected in aggregate and are not linked to your identity.
